Went to get a medical issue dealt with, asked about another issue that previous doctors had prescribed medication for over the years and the doctor was very judgemental about it and said no. Said that what I was asking for can cause blood clots. Then she prescribed me a medication that causes “the need for a liver transplant, blood clots and possibly death” for my other problem, and didn’t do bloodwork before prescribing it to me like the medication information pamphlet said to. Second time taking this med, she should’ve done bloodwork for my liver before prescribing that drug!

Extremely disappointed. I needed help And was denied. I have to pay out of pocket for healthcare and simply needed my (non controlled substance) medications refilled even though I had a follow up appointment scheduled I was told I had missed appointments that I did not have and did not schedule. I did not make any appointments. I was told NO EXCEPTIONS. l was not having issues and was very stable. I need a healthcare provider that cares for its patients. Not someone who only cares about policy. Thank you I am switching providers. Extremely disappointed. You can do better

I have only had good experiences here. My doctor is always attentive and helpful. The Medical Assistant's have always listened and took care of me until the doctor was available. The wait time has been about average for a doctor's office. I expect a bit of a wait when going to a clinic. The Staff at Heartland have given me good experiences each time I've been there. Thank You Heartland.

The Medical assistant that I encountered with was very rude did not speak nor did she introduced herself by name. She was nonchalant and rude. I told her that I'm not comfortable with her energy and that I requested to have another Medical Assistant or Nurse. She got aggressive and argumentative. She also slammed the door on her way out and I could hear her yelling and complaining to others staff members of what occurred. It was highly unprofessional. I was here to talk about my medical issues not feel overlooked. I will not be returning to this clinic.

Most unprofessional place. Took my mother in law there who only speaks Spanish (mind you I do not speak Spanish) and I informed them while scheduling that we needed an interpreter. They were not prepared for this at all and kept getting frustrated with her that she did not understand. They were informed 3 weeks ahead of time that she needed the interpreter. Everyone was very rude about it. Will not be returning.
